Following comments made by self-acclaimed Dancehall king Shatta Wale that ”Ghana is a village”, rapper EL pens to him a very short but deep and patriotic message.
Many have ranted, registered their displeasure and disappointment in Shatta Wale for passing that comment on such a stage and now EL adds his voice but with a difference.
In a tweet, he quoted a very popular speech by former American President, John F. Kennedy as he advices the ”My level” singer.
He wrote, ”Consider this Dear brother @shattawalegh Ask not what your country can do for you Rather ask what you can do for your country
JFK”. Shared by EL on his twitter timeline and we think this the best comment by far in relation to the ”Ghana is a village” comment made by the dancehall artist.
Background;
Shatta Wale, while performing on stage on the concert last week, paused and said “I just wanna share that word with you. Shatta Wale is a very nice guy. All that you keep reading about me on google from Ghana…Ghana is a village, say village, village.”
Consider this Dear brother @shattawalegh
Ask not what your country can do for you
Rather ask what you can do for your countryJFK
