Multiple awards winning Ghanaian-British hiplife recording artist, Nana Richard Abiona, better known by his stage name Fuse ODG has released his much anticipated 2nd professional studio music album tagged the ”New Africa Nation” album.
The 3rd successive studio project comes out laced with 14 African sensation tracks in total with a flavoursome array of local and international heavyweights such as; Damien Marley, Ed Sheeran, Mugeez, Stefflon Don, Suli Breezy, Simi and Sarkodie.
It follows T.I.N.A (This is New Africa), released in 2013, and featuring the singles “Antenna”, which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart, and “Azonto”, which peaked at number 30. Other songs off the album include the Sean Paul-assisted “Dangerous Love,” “Million Pound Girl,” “T.I.N.A” and “Angel.”
His sophomore body of work, the album aims at “building the tangible reality Africans need; their own schools, communities, media, movies, documentaries, fashion etc., all from a self love perspective,” per the musician.
The Grammy recipient of honor for his contribution on Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (Asylum/ Atlantic, 2017) New Africa Nation Album parades songs such as, ”Boa Me” featuring Mugeez and Ed Sheeran, ”Bra Fie” featuring Damian Marley, ”All Night Long” with Stefflon Don as a guest artiste, ”One Day”, ”Thinking About It” and a lot more.
