The Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) Ghana’s leading entertainment and news website, www,georgebritton.com, GB Interactive, and entertainment critic, Mr. George Mensah Britton, known as George Britton has been announced as the guest speaker for the 2019 edition of Ghana Blogger Summit.
Organised by Avance Media, and slated for 1st and 2nd November, 2019 at the Silver Star Towers, Accra, Ghana, George Britton will deliver a keynote presentations on the theme “Managing A Blog As Business”. He will be supported by other speakers, including Ismail Akwei – International Journalist, Angela Akua Asante – Sports Blogger, and David Mawuli – Blogger.
As a two days event, the summit will feature keynote presentations, bloggers lounge, all-female bloggers panel, breakout sessions and the announcement of our annual ranking of the Top 50 Ghanaian Bloggers. This event will also give the opportunity to bloggers to have a clear vision of what they can achieve with their platforms and groom the upcoming ones to create and we are looking forward to supporting the building of a vibrant community of Ghanalan bloggers and foster international partnerships.
Blog4SDGs Contest As part of their commitment to grooming upcoming bloggers, they would be launching the Next Top Blogger Competition which would be used as an opportunity to unearth the next prominent blogger in Ghana. This year’s competition will be focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The winner will be supported with hosting & domain packages, co-working space and mentoring from a top blogger in Ghana.
Ghana Bloggers Summit is an annual convention of Bloggers, Digital Influencers and Journalists to Network Learn and Share knowledge hosted by Rating & PR Firm, Advance Media. Each year the summit is expected to bring together speakers and participants from around the world who will be discussing how to reposition the image of Ghana on the internet and become a destination for aspiring bloggers to kick-start their career.
