“Giant Step Forward In The March Towards Justice” – Joe Biden Reacts To Guilty Verdict In George Floyd’s Murder Trial

President of the United States of America, Joe Biden has said that guilty verdict in the late George Floyd’s Murder trial is a giant step forward in the March towards justice in the country.

Joe Biden was reacting to justice served to the late George Floyd who was murdered by a Minneapolis Police, Derrick Chauvin.

George Floyd was killed by the “racist cop” last year 2020 after being handcuffed and pinned down for minutes without being made to breathe.

His murder sparked outrageous and irritated ” Black Lives Matter” protests globally by citizens and human right activists.

Chauvin, the cop who killed George Floyd has been found guilty of three charges against him- He has been found guilty of Second- degree murder, Third- degree murder and Second- degree manslaughter.

Personalities and celebrities globally including former President of the United States, Barack Obama, Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, singer Ciara, Ghanaian investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni and Oprah Winfrey had earlier reacted following the charges the cop has been found guilty of.

President Biden reacting to the guilty verdict in the three week lasted trial held the view that ” We can do more to reduce the likelihood tragedies like this will ever happy or occur again_ To ensure that Black and Brown people_ or anyone _ don’t fear interactions with law enforcement”

He added;

” The guilty verdict does not bring back George Floyd. But through the family’s pain, they will find purpose so George’s legacy will not just be about his death, but what we must do in his memory”
