Ghanaian singer, Camidoh has been in the industry for almost 4 years, delivering vocals and hits upon hits, however, the GBA Records signee feels he’s only beginning to feel appreciated by Ghanaians.
When asked in a recent interview with Ameyaw TV’s Zeinat, if he was being appreciated, Camidoh replied;
“Camidoh is gradually being appreciated.”
Camidoh, who had his big break in the Ghanaian music scene, after the release of his first self-produced single titled “For my lover” featuring Darko Vibes in 2018, revealed that one of the major challenges he has is people tagging him as a Nigerian.
“In the beginning people started saying that I sound Nigerian. And I was like does me sounding Nigerian stop you from listening to my music? A lot of people tell me they listen to my music but, I sound Nigerian. That was a little baffling,” he said in the interview.
Camidoh is currently promoting his wedding inspired new single “Dance with You” featuring Kwesi Arthur.
