Afrobeats singer, Kelvyn Boy has refuted claims that he charges hugely for features and collaborations.
The singer was answering a question as to how much he charges for a feature.
Some upcoming artistes had earlier stated that they couldn’t get him on their songs as monies he was demanding for the features were high.
Speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex on ‘Showbiz Agenda’ on Zylofon FM, the ‘VISA’ hitmaker stated that he doesn’t charge for 60% of features he does.
According to him, he would do a feature for free if he loves the song.
He says artistes don’t really pay much for features.
”No, I don’t charge much for features. I don’t charge for 60% of fearures I do. I have to love the song. If I love the song, I can do the feature for free”
he said.
Explaining further, he revealed that monies he takes sometimes are for his styling and clothing for video shoots of songs he features.
”I only take money for my styling if there would be a video shoot”
