I Was Using An Uber Instead Of My Car After Virgin Poozo Threatened To Kill Me – Kumi Guitar

HighLife musician and Zylofon Music Frontline act, popularly known in the showbiz industry as Kumi Guitar has narrated how he was living his life uncomfortably after 80’s musician, Virgin Poozo’s threat.

Virgin Poozo had earlier threatened to hire assasins to shoot the Zylofon Music act for using his intellectual property without his consent.

Poozo’s threat comes after Kumi Guitar in his new song featuring dancehall act and President of Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale dubbed ‘ Krokro me’ used a line from the 80’s legendary artiste’s major hit song ‘Boo N3 D3’ without his consent.

Speaking in an interview on Showbiz Agenda on Accra based radio station Zylofon FM with Samuel Atuobi Baah popularly known as Sammy Flex, Kumi Guitar revealed that he had to always park his car and pick an Uber after the death threat that was issued to him.

According to him, the death threat was very dangerous as he has never met the ‘boo n3 d3’ hitmaker.

Hi” You see, the threat was very dangerous. I used to always park my car and pick an Uber and go home because I never knew how I was going to be shot. What made it dangerous was the fact that I don’t even know my big brother virgin Pozoo. If someone threatens you and you know him, when you see him, you become vigilant but the case becomes more dangerous when you don’t even know the person”

he stATed.

Kumi Guitar amongst other things emphatically stated that he never thought of the 80’s musician’s before writing his.

He believes that music is talent, adding that artistes can write a song with the same lyrics but different rhythms.

To the end, he apologized to Poozo for using his intellectual property without his consent.

” To be frank, I never thought of my brother’s song before writing mine. Music is talent. Artistes can write a song with the same lyrics but different rhythms”

he Said.
