Ghanain actor who is signed to Zylofon Media, James Gardiner in an interview with Arnold Mensah Elavanyo on the Vibes in 5 show noted he will go for money over a good script if the conditions are favorable.
When asked by host if he will choose money over a good script, he posited, ”money is good oh, money is very good but sometimes you have to be very cautious.”
He went along and explained further, ”there are times I will choose money over a good script because in the end, man for chop. Sometimes you get a script, the script is bad but the director is good, you go for the money because you know the director can do some few corrections. You get a bad script and a good cast, you can follow but when there are certain loopwholes; you don’t have a good cast to back it or a good director to back it then you should better stay away.” He ended.
Touching on some of the things he will not do considering his brand, he made it known that for him to do it, it has to be something he is comfortable with and it has to be a good production. If he is not comfortable with it or it’s not good, he is not doing it.
Contrary to the believe held that acting does not bring money, James thinks otherwise as he told host acting brought him more money than presenting and added acting opened more doors which invariably translated into money.
Look out out for James’ new project ”The New Adabraka” which premires on 7th December at 7pm and 9pm at the Accramall for a cool GHC 40.00.
