I Won’t Share Airtime For My Fans To Vote For Me, They Will Do It Genuinely – Teephlow

Award-winning Fante rapper TeePhlow has revealed that he can’t afford to buy credit for his fans to vote for him to win best rapper at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

According to the “Forgive” singer in an interview on Radio Central 92.5mhz, he disclosed that the team is doing their best for him to win.

“We are doing the best we can do to bring the award but at the end of the day we can’t do everything. Obviously I can’t buy credit for people to vote like Sarkodie will do. I can’t do it alone so we have to do it together”, he told Amansan Krakye.

TeePhlow also entreated the fans to support by voting massively because awards are won by votes and not just talking.

“Every category that has to do with voting takes a collective effort to win. Anytime you see an artist nominated for category that has to do with voting, the winner is the one that had most votes.

So the only way we can win is to come together and vote across board. Most times people will be saying ‘this year TeePhlow go take am’ but we don’t use the mouth to win an award but votes. I have done my part as an artist so it has left with the fans to vote so that we can carry the awards”, he added
