One of the most listened-to, astute and illustrious radio & television personalities in the Ghana, John Foley known in the media landscape as Jay Foley has informally asserted his intentions to delve into activities associated with the governance of a country; politics to alleviate hardship the Ghanaian is exposed to.
According to mid-morning show “Muzik Box” host on an Accra based “Hitz 103.9 FM, he wants to acquire notable and healthy achievements for his country, he’s arrayed certain framework which defines acceptable political methods within a given society, noting that, Ghanaians are not given the best delivery by successive politicians.
In perspective, known for representing Ghana to cover the 2013, 2015 and 2016 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, Jay Foley noted that, successive politicians are oblivious of the fact that, Ghanaians need comfortable and suitable environment to elevate their lives. Politicians in recent times occupying the political landscape have caged the Ghanaian citizen with their self centered policies.
Meanwhile, in a Facebook post sighted www.georgebritton.com, Jay Foley stated that, with good governance; policies chalked on the board to manage public resources in the preferred way, his tenure of politicization will cushion and expose the Ghanaian citizen to good life, as he has the charisma to woo the public and the leadership skills to get things done.
According to the Ghanaian celebrated media personality, he will propose, support and create laws or policies that govern the land and, by extension, its people. He added that, he will address issues that affect the ordinary and to apply their laws at local, state and national levels.
He stated that, he will represent the constituents or the Ghanaians at large by hearing testimony from the public, commission members and representatives about proposals, and making unbiased, balanced decisions based on this testimony and investigative research.
However, Jay Foley stated that, he will give a formal announcement to engage in active political dealings in due time.
John Foley, popularly known as Jay Foley, is a radio and television presenter in Ghana who is known for representing Ghana to cover the 2013, 2015 and 2016 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards. He was appointed as the manager of a Ghanaian high-life singer, Bisa Kdei.
Jay Foley started a network for young people who had burning desire to become great achievers. He called it 2131, with the tagline, “Lead, Challenge or Just Forget It”. He later joined Y FM, rising through the ranks to become the General Manager of the station in 2011.
