Several claims have been laid upon popular Kumawood comic star, Kwadwo Nkansah aka Lil Win, on the fact that he is gradually shifting from movies into music.
However, he has clarified in an interview on Hitz FM that he is rather exhibiting how talented he is.
The popular actor has for some time now been composing and recording songs; shooting music videos and performing at musical shows.
He has consequently been tagged a consummate entertainer and a formidable force to reckon with when it comes to music in Ghana but there are some persons who are of the view that he is digressing.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s morning show, Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, the comic actor said he rather finds it fulfilling combining movie and music.
According to him, he is too talented to be sticking to one aspect of the arts, hence, his decision to venture into music.
He further mentioned that as someone who desires to have multiple streams of income, it is imperative to put his talents to use.
“I cannot quit movies for music,” he stated, while indicating he has been busy shooting his TV series.
Lilwin has featured and released several popular tunes including ‘Mama Boss Paapa’, ‘Choices’, ‘I Don’t Think Far’, ‘Ladder’ and ‘Anointing’.
About two years ago, Lilwin revealed that he had resolved not to write songs because all the songs he took his time to write never gained popularity.
“We don’t write, if you write, they won’t buy… I wrote six songs all didn’t hit,” he said in an interview on Hitz FM.
