Lynx Entertainment act and Highlife singer, popularly known in the showbiz industry as Kuami Eugene aka Rockstar has finally explained reason why he used ‘Okunchola’ in his newly released single dubbed ‘DOLLAR ON YOU’.
The singer had earlier come under public backlash after the release of his newly dropped single for the year 2021.
This comes after the ‘Open gate’ hitmaker used ‘Okunchola’ of legendary and iconic gospel musician, Seth Frimpong in his song.
Kuami Eugene released his ‘Dollar on you’ tune yesterday 30th April 2021. The song is produced by celebrated and influential Disc Jockey, Dj Vyrusky.
Explaining the reason why he used the gospel musician’s verse in his song in an interview with Lexis Bill, the Lynx Entertainment act stressed out that he heard it several times in church growing up as a child.
He believes it means a miracle.
‘ Okunchola means miracle, I heard it severally in church. I’m sure it means a miracle. Football is game. Okunchola is a miracle, Kuami Eugene is an artiste, Okunchola is a miracle. To me, that is what it means.
He said.
