Mafikizolo brings Amapiano to Ghana at CIZA’s EP launch

African music sensation, Ciza, the son of Mafikizolo’s Nhlanhla and TK Nciza, has launched his maiden extended record player [EP] in Accra to initiate his Ghana tour ahead of a publicity and promotional expedition of the continent.

The five-track EP and videos were premiered during a listening session at music mogul, D-Black’s Oasis Lounge in Cantonments, Accra. The EP comprises a fusion of multiple genres, including Soul, AfroPop and the latest global craze, Amapiano.

Several media houses and personalities attended the launch, including event host Giovani Caleb, CEO of 3Music Sadiq Abdulai Abu, Media General, the Multimedia Group, Yen.com, Ameyaw Debrah, Pulse Ghana,  Kobby Kyei News, Zylofon Media, Despite Group, Nkonkonsa, Pulse Ghana and Sammy Flex TV.

Ciza expressed a strong desire to work with the finest of Ghanaian artistes prospectively, name-checking local juvenile hitmakers Gyakie and Black Sheriff as two of his personal favorites.  The South African crooner has already shared a stage with African rap heavyweight Sarkodie but has revealed his readiness for an Afro-fusion collaboration that merges Highlife with Amapiano.

The 20-year old crooner, whose ADJE single has earned massive radio play and over a million views on YouTube was in the company of producer and songwriter David Hampton, as well as TK Nciza, who is also the boss of Top Boy Records label and Ciza’s father. Ciza, real name Nkululeko Nciza, is in Ghana to promote his music and brand.
