The much anticipated Cape Coast ‘Storm Reign Concert’ finally came off last night inside the central regional capital of Cape Coast in Ghana.
Shatta Wale, African Dancehall king, the ‘Be Afraid and Island’ hit maker as the headliner shut down the event with his energizing performances to the charged audience that thronged into the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The 20,000 capacity was half filled to a spectacular limit even after a lot of free shows on going in the city.
The concert saw other artistes like, Kofi Kinaata, Patapaa, Lil Win etc passing through with their performances.
Shatta Wale performed for about an hour and half with back to back hit songs doing over 50 songs live on stage. He started his performance with ‘Satanic’ song produced by YGF records in Jamaica.
He also performed, the new dancehall song making waves ‘Be Afraid’ also a Jamaican produce joint. Others are Ay3 Halfcast, Only One Man, Taking Over, Melissa, Thunder Fire, Forgetti, Gringo, I am blessed,. Kill Dem With Prayers, Prove You Wrong, and many more.
The show was Mceed by Ghana’s finest Dj, the only Advicer on radio, Dj Advicer of Happy 98.9 FM.
The concert is part of a series of tours spearheaded by Kasapreko company limited producers of Storm Energy Drink of which Shatta Wale is the brand ambassador, the tour is dubbed #StormReignsConcert, which basically is to launch ‘Storm Ginger’ Energy drink a new product on the market and also the success of, Shatta’s ‘Reign Album’ which was released last year and peaked #6 on the billboard world album charts and #1 on iTunes world album chart, the biggest album in the history of Ghana music to get to such height.
