South African artists DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small and Master KG as well as South Africa-based Zimbabwean singer Sha Sha will headline the 10th edition of The Vic Falls Carnival in Zimbabwe from 29 April to 1 May 2022.
More acts will be announced in due course. Scorpion Kings producers DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small will kick off the festival on 29 April. They will be followed by ‘Jerusalema’ hitmaker Master KG and Sha Sha on 30 April and 1 May, respectively.
“Africa’s most exhilarating music and adventure festival, The Vic Falls Carnival, returns in 2022 at one of the seven wonders of the world for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, bigger and better than ever,” the organisers said. “Adrenalin-pumping adventure, an incredible setting and a music-hungry crowd all mixed with local and international music fans boasting a line-up that showcases the best talent from around Africa.
“We will be ending off the carnival with a Secret Picnic Bush Party. Expect laid-back vibes with various live acts on the day as well as delicious local cuisine and craft brew. The excitement doesn’t stop at the festival grounds – spend your days white water rafting, bungee jumping, or sip on a cocktail while you watch the vulture feeding and watering hole action at Safari Lodge.”
Previous artists who have performed at the event include Black Coffee, The Kiffness, Tresor, Mampi, Flying Bantu and DJ Jason Le Roux.
