Nektunez has officially surpassed over 730k monthly listeners on Spotify.
The Ghanaian-Atlanta-based multi-genre record producer, singer, and musician, who is breaking into music charts and achieving enviable success around the world with his hit single “Ameno Amapiano,” has become the most-listened to Ghanaian record producer and the first to achieve such numbers on the music sharing and discovering platform.
On the Spotify app, the top cities where Nektunez music gets the most plays from users are London (25,005 listeners), Johannesburg (21,965), Amsterdam (18,719), Lagos (17,150) and Rotterdam (12,855). He has a total of 3,090 followers on the audio streaming and media services provider.
Born Noble, a Ghanaian Multi-Genre record producer, singer, songwriter, composer, and entrepreneur, was born in Ghana and graduated from the University of Ghana with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Noble’s interest in music began when he was a child, when he was exposed to musically inclined artists. Since high school, Nektunez has also honed his skills on traditional and percussion instruments.
Spending countless hours in the studio enabled him to develop a distinct beat-playing style that distinguishes him whenever he does a production. Top producers such as Kygo, Don Jazzy, JR ROTEM, DJ Khaled, Bon Iver, and Kanye West influenced his style of play, and Nektunez still looks up to them. Nektunez has a massive array of star studded production credits.
