Nigerian popular Nollywood/ Yoruba actor, Olarenwaju James known by his stage name as Baba Ijesha has been arrested by the Police in Lagos for allegedly defiling a fourteen (14) year old girl.
Sources say Baba Ijesha started sexually assaulting the victim since she was a 7 year old girl.
According to the Police Command’s Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement on Thursday 22nd April 2021, the 48 year old actor was arrested following a case that was reported at Sabo Police Station on 19 April by one princess Adekola.
CSP Adeboji says the actor has confessed to committing the crime and has also been captured by CCTV in the house of the complainant.
” Based on preliminary findings, the suspect started sexually assaulting the victim, since she was 7 year old.
He said.
