The Managing Director of Multimedia Group Limited (MGL)-Multi TV, Mr. Santokh Singh has hinted that, any short film that integrates a song with imagery, and is produced for promotional or artistic purposes; music video that contains nudity won’t gain an air play on the media group’s plaforms.
According to the Managing Director of the media entity, this decision has the objective of sensitizing uncultured and unethical products that are being consumed by the general public, a development he claims is leading the youth astray.
He made this revelation while speaking to astute Radio presenter and Disc Jockey, Andrew Amoh popularly known as Andy Dosty on an Accra-based Hitz 103.9 FM which is a subsidiary company to Multimedia Group Limited (MGL), Ghana.
Mr. Santokh who expressed disappointment in how some musicians use their position as celebrity to promote nudity in their music videos stated that, nudity especially in the music videos and as brand is draining the youth, as a lot of the young folks follow them and see them as their role models.
According to Mr. Santokh, musicians can use their voices and music videos to promote themselves in a positive way and not always using models who are half naked on social media.
He reiterated that his office as the Managing Director Multi TV (Multimedia Group Limited), won’t entertain any music video that has nudity in it and won’t promote personalities who expose themselves on social media irrespective your brand.

The Multimedia is a media group in Ghana which was established in 1994 by Ghanaian entrepreneur, Mr. Kwasi Twum. It has six radio stations, six news websites and a satellite television network. The group has won several local and international awards for its leadership in information communication in Ghana and the world. Its pioneer radio station, Joy FM was adjudged the second best radio station on the African continent by the British Broadcasting Corporation in 2006.
Multimedia Group owns six radio and Tv stations in the Ashanti Region and Greater Accra Region. The stations are; Joy FM, Luv FM, Nhyira FM, Asempa FM, Hitz FM and Adom FM, Adom Tv, Joy Prime. The group operates a satellite television station with several channels, Multi Tv. It has affiliations with several radio stations in Ghana and thirteen in Europe.
