Ohene Kwame Frimpong is giving a fully paid return tickets to two outstanding JHS students to travel to Dubai.
The Junior High School children will be fully sponsored to travel to Dubai as their winning packages in the finals of the Salt Educational Challenge- an educational contest organized to create the awareness to study among school going children in the Asante Akyem Agogo communities.
65 Junior Hight Schools took part in the educational challenge which consisted of various academic tests and quizzes.
The academic oriented program is the first of series to take place every year. According to Salt 95.9 FM management, who are producers of the project, the main rationale of the challenge is to promote high standards of education in the municipality. The idea was initiated and fully funded by CEO of Salt Media GH, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, a businessman and native of Asante Akyem Agogo.
At a special program to announce the grand finale, the organisers opined that, contestants from the winning school will be awarded with the ultimate fully paid return trip to Dubai.
“We want to encourage learning and higher education among the young one,” Ohene Kwame Frimpong said.
We are making it exciting for the to want to learn. According to the business man and philanthropist- there are other prizes for the other finalists which include laptops, desktops, computers, certificates , books and others.
