Fourteen individuals and organizations have received award for being excellent at their various field of occupation, six top profiled persons and a community development organization based in USA at the Nima Excellence Awards (3rd Edition), 26th October at the newly built Afro Arab Emirates Arena, kokomlemle in Accra.
The colorful night was full of beauty, pomp and pageantry, style in celebrating the hard working individuals and organizations. “Nima Association New York, equally received honors.
The awards are non-voting and nominees are carefully selected by an Award Board in consultation with Event team, in selecting personalities and organizations for outstanding contribution to the area. The award board comprise of a member from Ministry of Inner cities and Zongo Development, The municipal assembly, business community and respected and influential person from the community and a member of the organizing team.
The Award category covers a wide range of all the various sectors ranging from academia, business, media, sports, entertainment and arts, politics and community development amongst others.
The award recognizes and rewards significant contributions of individuals, institutions and corporate organizations who have a global trend or positively made an impact in the Community.
The night also saw crème de la crème of the zongo cmmunitiees at the event in celebrating the hardworking individuals and organization in Nima, zongo and the world at large.
Fourteen individuals and organizations who picked the prestigious crystal plaques whiles other high profile statesmen also received special honorary award for their contribution in shaping the community and national agenda.
