Ghana’s most branded artiste, Michael Owusu Addo, professionally known as Sarkodie, has today, September 19, 2019, declared his support for the former hiplife artiste, Kwame Asare Obeng known as A-Plus, for his none partisan project.
A-Plus, during his active years in music, had a great interest in rapping about politics and social issues. The album, Freedom of Speech I, he released in 2000 placed more emphasis on politics and politicians in particular.
The ’the masses and inflation’ hitmaker, Sarkodie, has more interest in how politicians have taken the ordinary citizens for granted, consistently failing on their promises. Both tracks were released under the regime of the former president, John Dramani Mahama, but the tracks are for every political party and governments in power.
The People’s Project, basically is a formidable, non-partisan and non-violent Ghanaian third force cum social movement established to demand for social goals and constitutional reforms that serve the best interest of the good people of Ghana.
Founded in recent times and lead by Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng a.k.a A Plus. The movement has gotten approval from Ghanaian citizens home and abroad with over five hundred and twenty branches across the globe and an estimated member of seven hundred thousand.
The unique factor about this group is that we do not only criticize government also lends a helping hand in solving some of the numerous Ghanaian problems. As a commitment to the good people of Ghana, we build free modern boreholes with purification systems to provide good drinking water to communities across the country, we give startup capitals to as many youths as possible, we coverings for persons with disabilities among many other social interventions.
