Mr Bee, Rybeena’s most recent release, is a seven-track EP that explores love, introspection, and street-poised ambition.
Together with Shoday, Joeboy, and Dr. Saheed Osupa, the project creates a dynamic soundtrack by combining highlife, Afropop, and soul sensibilities.
Rybeena puts his emotions on his sleeve in everything from heartbreaking ballads to audacious declarations, as evidenced by the poetic “Dewale” and the flirty “Adunni” with Joeboy. While “Rain,” “G.wagon,” and other songs provide scope for both intimacy and boldness, “Gaddem,” which features Shoday, expresses street energy and swagger.
