Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall Legend, Samini, has copped for himself another feat in this year’s IRAWMAs.
The celebrated Reggae/Dancehall Icon has been nominated for the “Best Video Category” at the 37thAnnual International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
“My Own”, his lead single and monster hit song from his “Untamed” Album got the nod. The single off the album was produced by DJ Frass; it came on the “Reggae Fest Riddim” which hosted other major international acts like Tarrus Riley, Etana, Jemere Morgan, Chris Martin, Jesse Royal, Richie Spice, just to name a few.
Samini is poised to bring the award home following his success at winning the coveted ReggaeVille “Album of the Year Award” earlier this year with the release of his 22 Track, 7th studio album titled “UNTAMED”.

This year’s nomination list also sees Ghanaian acts Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Fancy Gadam receive nods in Afrobeat Artiste of the Year, Video of the Year and Most Promising Entertainer respectively
