Reggae-Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has revealed that, contrary to reports disseminated by a cross section of the Ghanaian mass communication media, he has no issue with Ghanaian rapper and BET Hip Pop “Best International Flow” award winner, Sarkodie.
According to Charles Nii-Armah Mensah, the relationship between the rapper, christened, Michael Owusu Addo and him is healthy, devoid of defamatory and indecent statements.
This follows recent claims from music lovers and fans that the two artistes have not on good terms for some time now. The simmering tension between the two artistes seems to be of concern to critics and music lovers.
Evidence of this was when the BET award-winner hit out at Shatta Wale in his freestyle “Advice”. And also, Shatta Wale’s failure to congratulate Sarkodie after he made history by being the first artiste to win the Best International Flow at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Meanwhile speaking in an interview on Adom TV’s ‘Fire for Fire’ on Friday, The ‘My level’ hitmaker debunked the claims stating that, he’s on a good working rapport with Sarkodie, as feud that transpire between them pertains to showbiz. However, he explained it was unnecessary to congratulate him after winning the BETs.
He added “I believe I haven’t taken any valuable of his. I haven’t stolen his song, in fact, I have [done] entirely nothing wrong to him, he knows what the problem is which is none of mine. “But when he accepts the fact that he is at fault, why not we are brothers besides I am busy making my money.”
Shatta Wale is currently preparing to launch his third professional studio album, dubbed the “Wonderboy” at the second edition of his annual Reign Concert slated for 19th October, 2019. He released the tracklist to the album some few hours ago.
