Sarkodie Is The 6th Richest Musician In Africa And The Only Ghanaian According To Forbes.

Forbes Magazine unveiled the list of the richest African musicians in 2018. The list was made on the basis of sales and signed contracts.

Kindly note that this list was released in May 2018 so it’s surprising how its being carried around to make it look like it was released yesterday.

Do ignore those publications with conflicting rankings.

Here are the 10 richest African musicians:

1. Akon ($ 80 million)

Senegalese is the richest musician in Africa. CEO of his own label Konvict music, Akon is also a producer. It enjoys great popularity in Africa and around the world. Akon has sold more than 35 million albums, has been nominated five times for the Grammy Awards.
