Sarkodie Reveals What Inspired Him to Host Rapperholic Homecoming in Kumasi

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has revealed what inspired him to bring his upcoming Rapperholic Homecoming to Kumasi.

After over a decade since its debut, Sarkodie caused a stir last August when he announced that he is taking his annual concert to the Ashanti Region for the first time.

Scheduled to come off on the 27th of September 2025, the highly anticipated event will be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Speaking in a recent interview on Onua Showtime, the Sark Nation boss disclosed that he was inspired by his intuition to move the concert to the region.

According to him, he was nervous the very first time he was putting up the concert as it was his first time hosting his own event.

The rapper further described the event as not just a concert but the celebration of Ghanaian music, adding that almost all the artists in the country have ever performed on the big stage.

Talking about the concert’s success over the years, he thanked his fellow artists for making it possible.
