Shatta Wale and Kofi Kinaata removed from ‘Ghana Party In The Park’ festival lineup | REASON REVEALED

Shatta Wale and Kofi Kinaata will not be performing at the 2022 “Ghana Party In The Park” festival, the organizers announce.

Slated for Saturday (July 16) at the Trent Park in London, the Ghanaian reggae & dancehall performer and Highlife artiste were scheduled to headline this year’s edition of the one-day immersive music, arts and cultural event which made its post-pandemic return last year.

Though details about they pulling out of the event remain unknown, the organizers say the decision was taken “due to reasons out of our control”. Meanwhile this year’s festival will host performances from Camidoh, Gyakie, Kelvyn Boy, Mayorkun, Eugy and more. Veteran musicians Ofori Amponsah, Edem, KK Fosu, Sydney, Kofi Nti, Barosky are also scheduled to perform.

Ghana Party in the park is an annual outdoor festival held in London for the Ghanaian Community in the diaspora. Hosted by Akwaaba Group since 2005. The festival attracts over 8000 people, making it the biggest Ghanaian event outside of Ghana. Attracting visitors from the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Ghana.
