Shatta Wale apologizes for his “insensitive” comments on the #FixTheCountry campaign

Emperor of the Shatta Movement Empire, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., also known as Shatta Wale has taken to social media to render a sincere apology to his fans for his comments on the #FixTheCountry campaign. Last week, the dancehall act added his voice to the ongoing online protest launched by Ghanaians on social media as they lament the ill-governance of the government.

In his submissions, Shatta Wale revealed that there is no point in the youth fighting for the government and die in the end simply because they want to fight for their rights.

In a post on Facebook, Shatta Wale stated that if the campaigners would draw the attention of the government to the problems facing one particular geographical area, they would be able to come up with ideas on how to tackle them rather than asking them to fix the entire country at once.

He further described the campaigners as educated fools and disappointed graduates, adding that they should fix themselves before asking the government to fix the country.

Well, it appeared that some of his fans and other industry players were so please with his comments as they descend on him, tagging him as the “inconsistent” and “confused” artiste we’ve always known him for.

Finally, Shatta Wale has rendered a sincere apology to his fans for his comments about the campaigners. This was after he claimed that he was advised by his GodFather, Abas Sariki GIWA to apologize for his comments.

He wrote; “Today My Godfather Abass Sariki GIWA 1 has spoken to me like a father and son and I have taken his lovely advice . I will like to once again say sorry to the fans that never got to watch my LIVE video ,I love you all and get ready for the Journey ahead ❤️✊🔦👑🥂#GOGAlbum#HYLYF”
