Sogakope To Host Africa’s Biggest Urban Cultural Festival From 21st – 23rd December.

December in Ghana sees an occurrence of activities that cloud the calenders of festive merry makers from all over the world with concerts, private events and even unplanned raves. 

This year, The Bacon Group adds up to the festive experience with the official Christmas party starter – The 4TC Urban Music and Culture Festival. The three day event is anticipated to be the biggest festival in Africa yet for urban culture from 21st – 23rd December 2018 at the Sogakope Beach Resort. 

The Launch party which was held at Urban Grill on Wednesday 5th December, saw an attendance of music professionals and acknowledged contributors to the music and entertainment industry with exclusive coverage by MTV Base Africa.

Guests were catered for by the Yolo Group and entertained by musical talents like Kobla Junior, Yung Pabi, Phabrik and many more.

The 4TC team detailed to press at the launch that, the festival is aimed at celebrating the cultural creative revolution across Africa and in the diaspora with focuses on all aspects of urban lifestyle including music, film, art and fashion. They further stressed that not only does the the festival aim to give a platform for African talents to be recognized on a global scale but also help build their acts and knowledge in the business of music production. 

The 3-day event will kick off with a masterclass and workshop for artists and professionals with the sole purpose of educating on how to build and monetize a career in music. Day two and three will host a number of activities including games, movies, sightseeing, shopping arena and concerts hosted by some of the best Dj’s on the nightlife scene. 

The maiden edition of the festival is designed to be an experiential affair with a curation of elements that focuses on the main features of the event, namely; Music, Movies, Tech, Fashion, Arts and Food. 

The venue, Sogakope Beach Resort is nicknamed the pride of Sogakope for its serene and beautiful setting. Located in the Volta Region just two hours’ drive from Accra, it boasts of a tranquil garden, a relaxing atmosphere and an events grounds that welcomes the Volta River on its doorsteps. The venue also has comfy and exquisite single bedroom chalets and executive suites with a fusion of cultural and modern décor and private Jacuzzis. The maiden edition of 4TC Urban music cultural festival promises to be the beginning of an amazing urban music and culture experience and is expected to bring together creatives from all areas under one space to share, educate and build relationships that takes Africa to the world by bringing the world to Africa. With Music, Love and Unity as its flag bearers. The event partners with Universal Music, HACSA, MTV Base, Dropyn Transport Services, Fear No Man Clothing, Wave Africa, Background Media and is an experience that cant be missed as this kicks off the revolution.
