STONEBWOY hosted an outdoor listening session on Wednesday (April 13) for his new album, 5th Dimension, due out later this month on April 28.
The multi-award-winning international musician invited members of the media, such as Abeiku Santana, Joselyn Dumas, Doreen Avio, Prince ‘Don’ Tsegah, Abeiku Santana, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, King Lagazee, Elorm Beenie, and Giovanni Elolo Caleb, as well as creatives across various categories, to listen to his new solo LP. The event also was heavily attended by some industry executives, most notably Bola Ray, a creative entrepreneur and CEO of EIB Network Group; BullDog, a label executive; Mr. Logic, a talent manager; and Juls, a London-based record producer, who also contributed to the project.
Held at Level Bar & Lounge, OSU, the event featured brief performances, previews of multiple new songs, and significant updates to tracks he debuted off the project. In addition to current singles “More Of You,” and “Far Away,” as well as previously shared features from Davido, the listening session revealed new features from Grammy Award-winning singer Angelique Kidjo, Nigerian singers Tiwa Savage and Oxlade, South African amapiano singer Maphorisa, Jamaican heavyweights Shaggy and Dexta Daps, UK rapper Stormzy, and more.
The new record marks Stonebwoy’s fifth LP, following Anloga Junction, which arrived in 2020. It will debut as his first body of work since his historic global signing with Universal Music Group (UMG) label divisions Def Jam Recordings, 0207 Def Jam, and Def Jam Africa back in May 2022.
