Multiple awards-winning Reggae/Dancehall and Afro-fusion artiste Stonebwoy stated that, contrary to the claims made by Hiplife/Highlife artiste, the then Tic Tac now Tic, the Ghanaian entertainment industry is not inhabited by on three performing art brands in the country.
According the ‘Top Skanka’ hitmaker who downplayed such criticisms that the Ghanaian music industry is currently being run by three artistes stated categorically that, in every period of the year marked by special events or activities in some field, the Ghanaian music industry has its own celebrated artistes.
Hiplife artiste, Tic in an interview some few weeks ago, stated that, Ghana music industry is been ruled by Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale. Inculpating pioneers of the music industry and show organisers for billing three artistes for almost every show during the 2018 Christmas season.
According to the ‘Kwani Kwani’ crooner, such treatment given to other musicians in the country does not elevate the state of the entertainment industry, explaining his of the argument that, the monopoly some of these artistes are enjoying have caused other singers both the mainstream and the up and coming to be sidelined.
However speaking as a guest to Kpekpo Maxwell Justice(KMJ) on Daybreak Hitz morning show on an Accra-based Hitz FM, Tuesday, the Chief Executive Officer of Burniton Music Group mentioned that, patrons concur with music of up-and-coming artistes who turn to rule the music scene till the songs of others take over.

Stonebwoy made a recommendation or proposal for an appropriate course of action should be taken by artistes, both the mainstream and the up and coming to position themselves well and utilize the least chance garnered in their heyday of the music business to keep them germane and elongate their artistry life span.
