Was Akuapem Poloo Jailed For Exposing Herself Or Her Minor Son? – Reggie N Bollie Quizzes

Ghanaian- UK based music duo, Reggie N Bollie has questioned whether Akuapem Poloo was jailed earlier yesterday for indecently exposing herself as a woman or her underaged son?

The duo was reacting to the actress’s sentencing earlier yesterday over a nude picture she took with her son and posted it on social media.

Akuapem Poloo & Son

The actress had earlier on yesterday Friday16th April 2021 been jailed three months ( 90 days) by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Christine.

Akuapem Poloo was on Wednesday convicted by the Court by pleading to three charges against her on her own plea.

The actress was charged with the publication of nude pictures with her minor seven year old son on his birthday. She changed her not guilty plea to guilty before her conviction.

The Court had earlier deferred her sentencing to yesterday Friday 16th, April 2021 for her to undergo a pregnancy test to ensure she was not pregnant before her sentencing.

Before her sentencing was announced, the presiding Judge confirmed that she was not pregnancy after her pregnancy test as result came out negative.

Reggie N Bollie in a Facebook post yesterday after the actress had been sentenced, called for all celebrities who have exposed themselves on social media to be arrested if she was jailed for exposing herself as a woman.

They say the separation of the actress from her son will be traumatic to him at his tender age.

The duo in their statement questioned if judge who presided over the case could not have fined her instead of sentencing her?

” Could the judge not have fined her and given her some community service on top of the fine as she already apologized and showed great remorse for her actions in the past?
Finally I believe Akuapem Poloo is a product of her society and environment so maybe it’s time for the Ghanaian government to take a critical look at the digital space and media in Ghana and discourage the glorification of nudity in the Ghana celebrity culture especially amongst our females”
