Winner of Big Brother Naija Season 5 and singer cum songwriter, born Olamilekan Moshood Agbeleshe, known by his stage name as Laycon has revealed that Nigerians didn’t know Ghana’s rap heavyweight, Sarkodie through social media.
According to him, they got to know his off his songs that were played in the street of the country.
”We didn’t get to know Sarkodie through social media. We knew him off the songs that were played on the streets in Nigeria”
he said.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s ‘DaybreakHitz’, the award winning reality show star indicated that he has known about rappers, Joey B and Kwesi Arthur since 2019.
”I’ve known about Joey B and Kwesi Arthur since 2019”
Laycon explained.
He added;
”Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Gyakie and some Ghanaian artistes appear in Nigerian music charts.”
