Ghanaian Afrobeats/ Afropop singer and RuffTown Records signee, born Wendy Addo popularly known in the music industry as Wendy Shay has on today Tuesday 27th April 2021 threatened to sue producers of movie ‘Slay’.
Wendy Shay’s threat comes after producers of the movie used her ‘All for you’ song in it without her consent.
Reacting in a tweet after watching the movie on NetFlix, She tagged action of the producers using her intellectual property without her consent as a crime.
According to her, she will take them to court if they fail to do the right thing after their illegal actions.
In her tweet accompanied by an excerpt of the scene in the movie in which her song was used unlawfully, she wrote;
