Yaw Tog has released a new single titled “Sophia.” He collaborates with producer Khendi Beatz on the song to create a smooth afrobeats-infused track filled with affectionate lyrics. Despite being a far cry from Yaw Tog’s usual style, the song is refined and showcases his versatility.
Yaw Tog gained mainstream recognition in 2020 when he dropped his crossover hit “Sore”, which features colleagues O‘kenneth, City Boy, Reggie and Jay Bahd. Since then he has established a reputation for putting out hard-hitting drill cuts but he switches up his sound completely on his latest offering. He is also considered a pivotal contribution to the emerging drill scene which started in Ghana’s Ashanti regional capital of Kumasi.
