Ghanaian Born rapper Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng, who performs as Kontihene, has noted that, it is always difficult for artistes who work with Ghanaian highlife music legend, Kojo Antwi to pay him.
According to rapper Kontihene, no Ghanaian performing arts brand can afford to pay for the price tag of awards winning highlife guru, Kojo Antwi as his value is expensive and beyond money.
Speaking as a guest to Andy Dosty on Hitz 103.9Fm’s morning show, “daybreak hitz”, Kontihene stated that, it will be a sign of exhibiting lack of respect, rude and discourteous for any musician to place a monetary value on the artiste of consummate skills, Kojo Antwi’s talent.
The “Aketesia” hit maker buttressed his point by quizzing, “How much can you pay him? No, you can’t pay for his talent,” adding that, his natural musical ability and endowment surpasses any notable currency
Rapper Kontihene revealed that, Highlife artiste, Kojo Antwi, known as Mr. Music Man, has not received any form of payment from any performing arts brand who in a way have had some music dealings with him.
