Embattled Public Relations Officer ( PRO) of the National Lottery Authority ( NLA), Razak Kojo Poku has said that Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of privately owned Lottery Company, Alpha Lotto, Mr Alpha would die leaving the NLA behind.
Razak Kojo Poku was reacting to customer enticing and magnificent draws, codes and packages introduced by Alpha Lotto which he believes is meant to collapse the NLA.
Speaking in a secretly recorded tape leaked by member of Parliament and leading financier of the ruling NPP government, he opined that the CEO would die leaving the National Lottery behind as it is for the country and next generation.
” You Alpha you would die and leave the NLA behind. You would die leaving NLA behind because it’s for the country and next generation” Razak Kojo Poku fumed.
He among other things threatened to collapse all Lottery Companies in the country belonging to private business men and entities.
He in the tape which has gone viral after it’s leak, vowed to use his influence at the Authority to frustrate Alpha Lotto when date for their licence renewal is due.
According to the PRO of the NLA, he would make sure he deals with any Director General of the Lottery Authority who would challenge his decisions.
He is very sure that he will resign but makes sure the said Director General is dealt with by him before his resignation.
Razak Kojo Poku in an angry mood described the activities of his employer and retired Director General of the Authority, Kofi Ameyaw during his tenure in office as stupid.
” And any Director General who will come and do any foolish thing, I will deal with you. I will deal with any Director General who will come and misbehave. I know I will resign but I will make sure I deal with you before I resign” He said.
” Even Akufo-Addo koraa cannot challenge me because I hold media power. I know how to write and speak as well” The PRO added.
Meanwhile, award winning broadcaster and host of ” INSIDE POLITICS” talk show on Accra based radio station, Power FM, Mugabe Maase has reacted to Mr Razak’s comments, calling on the Ghana Police Service to arrest him.
