Over the weekend the flag of Ghana was hoisted high as legendary music icon Amakye Dede teams up with Lynx Entertainments jewel Kuami Eugene and other celebrated Ghanaian arts to shake the Dominion Center in the UK as Salt Media Gh launched and readies to start operations.
Salt Media Gh, a Ghanaian owned but a UK based company which is into event organizing with subsidiaries; Salt TV which is for coverage and promotion of Ghanaian content abroad and Salt FM over the weekend put together their maiden event which was with the aim to introduce Salt Media GH and to also celebrate Amakye Dede.
On the night, the Countryman Songo and MC Da Boss hosted event recorded an overwhelming attendance and epic performances and had very renowned Ghanaian personalities in attendance. Among the notable faces that turned up for the event were Bola Ray as well as performers such as Wutah (Afriyie), comic actor and musician Lil Win, Kuami Eugene and the legendary “Iron Boy” crooner Amakye Dede who thrilled the audience to a spectacular performance on the night.
The huge success of the event saw Kuami Eugene burst out as he couldn’t hide his excitement performing side by side a legend as he took to his twitter page to write, “Dreams do come through, I will forever cherish this day. With the legend Amakye Dede. #Seriiiiious #Rockstar” – with flaming emoji and the Ghana flag.
