Four time Grammy Award- winning Afrobeat singer, known and addressed by her stage name as Angelique Kidjo has revealed the inspiration behind title of her forthcoming and much anticipated ‘Mother Nature’ album.
The Beninese born singer would be releasing her well crafted and masterpiece studio project on the 18th of June 2021.
Detailing the inspiration behind the title , she revealed that the album itself is a love letter she is sending to the earth, stressing out that she worries for the next generation.
According to her, humans must nurture and take care mother earth for her to be able to do same to them.
She believes through music, nature can be celebrated and helped by humans in order for her to help them.
”Hi, my new album ‘Mother Earth is a love letter that I’m sending to earth, I worry about the next generation. We need to nurture and take care of mother earth for her to take care of us in return and I think through music, we can celebrate mother nature and do something to help her help us”
she explained.
