Ghanaian drill music group, Asakaa Boyz has announced that they will not be performing at this year’s ‘DMV Party In The Park’ as scheduled earlier.
The group made the announcement through a Press Statement shared on social media.
In the statement, the rappers stated their reasons as “reasons beyond our control”.
“We are very sorry to our attendees for this outcome. This decision was not an easy one but as mentioned earlier, the reasons are beyond our control” part of the statement read.
The Boyz are preparing to announce dates for their much-anticipated American tour and ” a special DC (DMV) event.
This year’s ‘DMV Party In The Park’ will be held on Sunday 14th July at the Bullpens in Washington DC. The event promises a fun experience and loads of multifaceted live performances from artists such as Kwesi Arthur, Mr Drew, Gyakie, Lasmid, Sefa, etc. Disc jockeys (DJs) on the turntables include DJ Aroma, Mic Smith, Teabee, Mix Master Berto, etc.
