BBC Feature; I want to be a gynecologist – DJ Switch

Erica Armah Bulu Tandoh, popularly known as DJ Switch, who trilled patrons all throughout her time at the talented kidz house as she took Disc Jockeying (DJ) to a different level.

Trained by DJ Fuad on request of her very supportive mother, the young female DJ even after the kids reality show has continued to turn on heads with her performance, stage craft and control of the turntables.

The multi-talented Dj doubles up as a good dancer, can play the cultural drums, play the piano and the trumpet, too much talent in one body right.

Yesterday, BBC news Africa released a feature documentary on the young Ghanaian female DJ in which she made a shocking revelation on what she really wants to do in future. Are we going to see her shun Disc Jockeying anytime soon?

DJ Switch who started as at age nine with the intentions just to try her hands on the turntables now “switches up peoples happiness”, hence her choice of name DJ Switch. She detailed.

On what she would want to become in future, she responded, “Dj is my passion, but I want to be a gynecologist because I want to help women.”

We wish her all the best in her endeavors and below is the BBC feature footage.
