Charterhouse Ghana Begets New Plaque For VGMAs.

Organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse Ghana has unveiled the new plaque to be presented to artiste who are being pronounced victorious in their respective categories at this year’s edition of the awards event.

The unveiling of the new plaque was stage amidst the launching of the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and the nominees announcement ceremony at the La Beach Hotel, in Accra and was slated for 15th March, 2019.

Instituted 20 years ago, VGMA is being organised to reward deserving artistes for their hard work, dedication and contribution to the growth of the Ghana’s music industry.

Started in 2000, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has grown to become the most respected awards scheme and, indeed, one of the most respected on the African continent.

This new plaque comes in a gold plated and star-shaped with a sound hole of an acoustic guitar, guitar strings(A-D-G-B-E) centred in the heart of the star, with the objective of it being used at the 20th and subsequent editions of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ceremony.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards plaque has been changed over the years. The previous plague was unveiled during the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night which includes a plastic red, gold, green (national colors of Ghana) compact disc to symbolize music.
