The prestigious cognac brand, ‘Martell and Vintage Havana Club Rum’ held the 2nd interactive Cognac, Rum and Cigar Pairing Night yesterday at the Little Havana Restaurant and Bar in Osu, Accra.
Cigars have often been seen as the epitome of class, luxury, and status. Cognac and cigars is an age-old pairing but knowing the right cognac to pair with the chosen cigar flavuor is key to enjoying the flavuor and aroma of both. Unsurprisingly, the better the cognac and cigar, the better the experience.
So it was befitting to have the Martell VSOP and XO cognac pairing with the top range Cuban Cigars provided by Norman’s folly cigar club for the night.
Joseph Baffour Diawuoh, Martell Ambassador for West Africa took the guests through the history and heritage of Martell, and also how to pair and enjoy a perfect glass of Martell cognac with a selection of the finest Cuban cigars by Tobacconist and Cigar Aficionado, Kevin Norman, together with a wide range of Cuban inspired finger foods.
