D-Black’s night club disconnected by ECG for power theft

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has cut off the supply of power to the Oasis Pool and Shisha Lounge in Cantonments, Accra, which is allegedly owned by hip-hop artist D-Black, for theft.

The ECG’s National TaskForce, reportedly, visited the facility and discovered the nightclub operators had been bypassing the metre in order to use electricity. The nightclub’s managers have since been summoned to the ECG’s offices for questioning.
