El Classico: Barcelona Name Squad To Face Real Madrid

FC Barcelona have released their squad list for a crucial Li Liga fixture against fierce rivals Real Madrid on Saturday, April 10.

With a head-to-head race in the Spanish competition, the Catalans will have the opportunity to top the league table and look forward for Atletico Madrid to drop points against Real Betis on Sunday.

Despite the doubts regarding his availability, Gerard Piqué has managed to make it into the squad list as he received the medical green light. Whether he will get minutes, will most likely depend on the evolution of the game, but it does not look like Koeman will risk the 34-year-old as a starter.

Sergi Roberto, who has been injured for quite a while now, also received the medical green light and will travel to Madrid together with the team.

Barcelona have been in astonishing form recently, but so do Real Madrid who have managed to pull off a 3-1 win against Premier League giants Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday.

Surely, with two in-form teams, a huge El Clasico is awaiting us — but more interestingly, it will be a decisive game to determine the La Liga champions of the seaosn.
