Emmanuel Gyasi ‘Proud’ To Make Black Stars Debut

The Spezia Calcio forward feels proud to wear the national colours for the first time as Ghana record a stalemate against South Africa in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

Emmanuel Gyasi had a good game at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg where South Africa played out a one-all draw game with Ghana on Thursday.

The Ghanaian born in Italy almost lasted for the full 90 minutes with Emmanuel Boateng replacing the former with just a minute to end proceedings.

The striker in a Facebook post wrote; “The biggest dream for every football player is to reach the national team, this dream comes true only with hard work, humility and a lot of commitment. I am proud and proud to represent my country Ghana,”

“Once aspiration, now reality; synonymous with the fact that in life nothing is impossible, with dedication and perseverance, you can get anywhere,” he added.

Following the draw Ghana have qualified for the AFCON tournament with a game to spare against São Tomé in Accra on Sunday.
