The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has exposed an unregistered product – ‘Forever Fibroid Removal Kit’ and ‘Forever Diabetes Detox’ advertised on the market.
On Tuesday, 9th May 2023, the FDA informed the public through social media to be alert of an unregistered product – ‘forever fibroid Removal Kit’ and ‘Forever Diabetes Detox’ for the treatment of fibroid and diabetes respectively on the ‘Herbafarma’ website.
According to the FDA, these products may not be safe because they have not been approved by the authority and may pose a danger to the public. It stated that “these products are not registered, therefore their safety cannot be guaranteed”.
The FDA encouraged all to check the registration of regulated products from the FDA website or through the proper platforms.
According to the FDA, it exists to ensure the safety, quality and efficacy of human and veterinary drugs, food, biological products and cosmetics, medical devices, household chemical substances and clinical trials, and the control of relevant standards to protect public health.
