Gaddafi Football Club Sack Their Technical Team

FUFA Big League entity Gaddafi Football Club has suspended their technical team of Frank Ssebaggala and Michael Sebagala for a period of one month.

Management of this Jinja based club confirmed the development on Friday, 2nd April 2021, barely a day after they lost 1-0 away to Mbale Kataka in the second tier league.

The loss to Mbale Kataka was the second in succession after the 2-0 home loss to Maroons last week.

GBAfrica Sports has established that besides the appalling results, the coaching staff had failed to tame their dressing room.

Besides, the Ssebagala duo irreconcilable differences that led to disunity in the team.

CAF “C” licensed Michael Ssebagala worked with the team from the regional league set up and Frank Ssebaggala came into force to serve as head coach since he had the CAF “A” credentials.

Hassan Zzungu and William Kyeswa have been appointed on interim basis as head and assistant coaches respectively.

Gaddafii FC will take on Mbale Heroes during the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 in a two legged battle next week.

Gaddafi will host the first game at their Kyabazinga Stadium fortress before playing away at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

Christened as the “Soldier Boyz”, Gaddafi was promoted to the FUFA Big League last season.
