Ghanaian Musician Lino Beezy Drops Anticipated EP “Waves” Showcasing Versatility and Unique Collaborations

Ghanaian music enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the release of the much-anticipated EP “Waves” from the talented rapper and musician Lino Beezy. The wait is finally over, as Lino Beezy unveiled the six-track masterpiece, which showcases his versatility and unique collaborations with fellow artists.

Featuring guest verses from renowned artists such as Trigmatic, Tulenkey, Kweku Flick, G-west, Deon Boakye, and Tyna, “Waves” promises a diverse listening experience for fans and new listeners alike.

Lino Beezy revealed that the inspiration behind the EP came from his surroundings and experiences. He explained, “The aim of this project is to give new feels and sounds about the brand Lino Beezy. Many listeners and fans know the brand Lino Beezy to be a rapper, but on this particular project, there has been a mix of genres and different sounds to let the listeners know that my talent is not just limited to rap.”

The production credits for “Waves” go to Apya and Tubhani Musik, with Apya handling the production for the first five songs and Tubhani working on the final single.

The EP kicks off with the track “Amponsah,” featuring G-west and Deon Boakye. Lino Beezy shared the interesting story behind its creation, “This song was recorded in early 2020. I already had my verse on the beat without a hook. I met G-west in the studio one time and played the song for him. He loved it and jumped on it. I later sent it to Deon Boakye, who added a verse too.”

Take a Picture” follows as the second single on the EP and is Lino Beezy’s personal favorite. Interestingly, it was one of the shortest recording sessions during the production of “Waves.”

The third track, “Let’s Drink,” is a remarkable collaboration with Trigmatic, who graciously accepted Lino Beezy’s invitation to work on a song together while being in Kumasi.

Moving on to the fourth song, “Sugar Daddy,” Lino Beezy joined forces with the exceptionally talented vocalist Tyna. He revealed, “I featured the amazingly talented vocalist Tyna. I wrote the song one night with her, and we recorded it the next day.”

Track 5, “Friday Night,” features the dynamic presence of Tulenkey, adding an extra layer of excitement and energy to the EP.

The final song, “Kudi,” features the rising star Kweku Flick, concluding the EP on a high note and leaving fans eager for more.
