Though many see homosexuals, individuals engaged in homosexuality as criminals ought to be rejected by society or better still be treated as outcasts and demons, Ghanaian singer and Highlife artiste, born George Kwabena Adu known by his stage name as Kwabena Kwabena doesn’t see them as such.
Ghanaians had earlier descended on the singer for rallying his support behind Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders, Queer [LGBTQ] community in the country. He had earlier been tagged as a gay.
According to the ‘Bue Kwan’ hitmaker in an interview on Hitz FM’s ‘DaybreakHitz’ with Andy Dosty, even though all religions are against the act, its perpetrators should be welcomed by people against it with love and not violence.
He believes that they can only be won into God’s kingdom with love.
”Almost of every religion is against homosexuality but they need to be welcomed with love. Not violence. To be able to win them into God’s kingdom, you have to do that with love”
he said.
